Methods for size conversion:

1. Use a string to wrap around the base of your finger. Stretch out the length of the string over a ruler and note the length in millimeters. A sewing tape measure will also do the trick. You can use this measurement to match to circumference in the chart below.

2. If you already have a ring that fits, or tested one at a local jeweler, get the inner diameter of the ring measured with a caliper rather than using a ring sizer or ring mandrel.

Here's how to understand the traditional bangle size system

With 2-12 as an example - A bangle size 2-12 refers to a bangle with an inside diameter of 2.75 inches (approx. 7.0 cm) and an inside circumference of about 8.6 inches (21.8 cm). It is a larger size, commonly worn as a men's large or women's extra-large size.

The traditional sizing format uses a diameter-based measurement in inches:

• The first number (2): Represents 2 full inches.
• The second number (12): Represents sixteenths of an inch (e.g., 12 ÷ 16).
• The math: 2 inches + 12/16 inches = 2.75 inches.
